Optimistic;  deeply reflective;  compassionate;  forgiving;  grateful;  playful;  very inquisitive;  adventurous;  loyal;  intellectual;  often spontaneous;  allowing;  analytical;  independent;  deeply conversational;  intense;  inventive;  scientific;  courageously goes where most dare not tread;  embraces quality aloneness time;  questions everything;  considers details but sees big picture;  seeks much time afield amidst natural biodiversity;  regarded as “born naturalist”;  especially loves turtles, snakes and other reptiles and amphibians;  holds many traits of an INDIGO (though I don't seem to fit the main time frame for birth);  called “ONE WHO LAUGHS” in Native American by Spirit Guides;  processes thoughts more-and-more through THE HEART.
_____________________________________________

Since a major spiritual “awakening” in 2005, I have entered into a phase of my life that may be summarized as one of very significant transition:  a transition much for the better, one of a former agnostic biologist who is now in the process of fully embracing the Light in a path of compassion, forgiveness and nonjudgment (definitely not easy at times!).

I am someone who thinks and acts “outside of the box”, someone who questions much, including things that many say should not be questioned at all.  The conventional and status quo ways held by most are not for me.  I am passionate about studying, protecting and healing natural life, natural biodiversity, and helping to stimulate other humans to bring healing to themselves and Mother Earth by looking to their Higher Selves and Divine Wisdom to embrace and practice respect for the “biotic rights” of nonhuman populations and communities to live natural existences for their own sakes, not as resources to be “conserved” for human use purposes.

My training encompasses the biological science of ECOLOGY, the scientific study of the interrelationships of organisms, populations and biotic communiies with their environments.  But what has been taught to me by Spirit and Self-examination during the past few years have been best lessons of my life.  Nonetheless I am still very much trying to figure out how to best live my life for the Highest, doing lots of discerning, allowing and accepting along the way. Protecting and healing Mother Earth – including the teaching about this to others, especially fellow healers – is absolutely one of my top Higher Purposes in life.

I am in a state of great change in so many ways, and I am currently planning to very actively shifting my profession to that of a Spiritual Healer in the region where I am presently living (Long Island, New York) before I eventually make the move to the HOT SPRINGS region of ARKANSAS.  Sprit is drawing me to Arkansas, apparently at least in part to engage in Grid Work Healing of Mother Earth centered on MANATAKA MOUNTAIN and its vicinity in Hot Springs, a sacred site to Native Americans.

Since my late teen years I just had a “knowing” – a “consciousness” – that natural populations and communities of all of the kingdoms of life have an inherent right to exist for their own sakes. That is, I was – and still am – on a conscious path in which there is rejection of the standard “mainstream conservationist” viewpoint that the only or primary justification or “politically correct” rationale for the conserving of natural life and natural areas is for their use by humans as “resources”.

Ironically, though I was quite conscious of the importance of respecting the “biotic right” of natural life to exist for its own sake, during most of my life I was agnostic and somehow tried to rationalize the basis for this “knowing” from an agnostic or atheistic intellectual standpoint. Hints of transcendentalism and spirituality filtered into my belief system at times (especially during my late teens and twenties when the writings of Henry D. Thoreau began to strongly impact my thoughts), but I largely remained agnostic and pretty much dismissed the existence of angels and spirit guides as superstition.

About 10 years ago I took my longest trip ever in this lifetime: to Alberta, Canada, to visit a Native (Cree) caregiver who I had met on the internet. During my two-week stay on that Native Reserve, I had what I now know was a Spiritual Vision. Despite my then agnostic state, thoughts of the vision and its meanings continued with me through the years. The vision was of what seemed like Celtic woodcuts. The first “picture” was of an army of Natives moving to attack something. The second “picture” was of a lone Native warrior standing firmly and defiantly. The third “picture” was of an owl. And the fourth “picture” was ….

I practice individual touch healing, individual non-touch healing, group”circle” healing, direct auric body healing out to at least the 7th auric field, and sound healing. The sound healing mostly involves Native American healing tonings, chants, and throat-singing being channeled through my vocal cords. The vocalizations may be used to heal an individual or a group. I apparently have the additional gift of vocalizing in “Light Languages”, which the wonderful sound-healer and channel Judy Satori recently confirmed to me are “Ancient Star Languages”.

I am certified as an An-Ra Master Healer. I have found An-Ra to be in alignment with and enhancing of the “natural” healing gifts awakened in me starting in 2005. One of the aspects of An-Ra that especially appeals to me is that it is HEALING FROM THE HEART.  An-Ra Healer connects with compassionate healing energies from Mother Earth (An) and healing energies from Source (Ra) and combines these in the heart, and it is through the heart that these energies are processed for sending to the healee.  An An-Ra Healer makes HEART-TO-HEART connection with the healee before a healing commences and maintains this Higher Love connection during the healing.  This emphasis of An-Ra on THE HEART is wonderful.
